Despite the many interviews you succeeded in getting, you do not get any job offer. How to find out what went wrong?
Fight the attitude of defeat! Even disappointed, job seekers must remain proactive. Here's how to get there.
EVALUATE YOUR TARGET
Make a self-assessment. Ask yourself if the desired position is right for you and why it interests you. If you have little interest in this position, you may not give your maximum during the interview. Know and recognize environments which illuminate you and match your desires.
By targeting a businesses that match your values and the more you desire the job, the more convincing you will be with your recruiter.
ASK FOR FEEDBACK
Your application is not accepted? Ask the recruiter why you have not been selected. Explain to him that you really desired that position and that you wish to know how you can improve your next interview. Your last interviewer is the best person to tell you what he perceived.
If the recruiter let you know that you lacked self assurance, for example, you'll need to show yourself more confident at your next interview.
KEEP A DIARY
After each interview, write in your diary your strengths and your weaknesses. If a particular question destabilized you during the interview? Prepare a good answer for your next interview.
Write your skills as well as concrete examples that illustrate them. You will be able to communicate and convince the recruiter that you possess the proper required skills for the position.
Never get discouraged, keep on sending resumes and cover letters to as many employers as you can, until you land the desired job. Quitting is not an option! Never refuse an interview, the more interviews, the better you will get at it.
CONSULT A PROFESSIONAL
If several job interviews end in failure, you may seek a job search professional. It will open an objective and external look at your situation.
The youth employment centers, among other things, provide services for job seekers aged 16 to 35 years.
During a private meeting, the counselor will help you determine the points you need ameliorate. He may even simulate a job interview with you to help you improve your chances of being hired during your next job interview.
In Quebec the government has a center where you can get a three weeks training course in french or English on how to present yourself at job interviews , with a complete job research, and they will help you with your CV and cover letter at the Job Research Center, and remember all this is for free.

PREPARING FOR A JOB INTERVIEW CAN BE A FUN EXPERIENCE. ITS UP TO YOU TO BE AUTHENTIC AND SINCERE.
Your working profile is clear. The job in question is there, your CV and your strategic illuminating letter had the desired effect.
Result: an invitation for an interview. Make it so that it is (engaging).
Knowing your profile in terms of skills, knowledge, personal values, points to improve, personal qualities, need's for guidance, management style, schedule and also, of course, salary, will give you a good opportunity to easily talk about yourself.
Have trust in yourself. Conditions caused by fears of interviews put your self confidence to the test. They are not in any way related to your ability to get the position or pass the interview successfully.
yourself and cling to the facts. Nobody is perfect and so many people
are working ...
Decide to enjoy your time with the recruiter by talking honestly about yourself by answering all his questions. Well prepared, the job interview can be a pleasant experience.
Many times I heard someone telling me: (I got the job, yet it was not my best interview ...) You do not have to be a very good speaker ... unless you are applying to be a lecturer! Be authentic. In an interview, you can take some time to think, to explain and, if necessary, to say (I don’t know, I have not lived this experience). The employer does not expect you to be perfect. He wants to validate your experiences and your competences, and see if you fit in his team or if he would enjoy working with you.
Basically, your presentation letter, your CV and interview are a repeat of the same speech. All interview questions are planned to get these points, you just have to know yourself, you prepare and then have to adapt to the style of the interviewer to describe your capabilities in relation to the position.
See every interview as a learning experience to talk about yourself more and more easily and as a step towards the position that really suits you.
TO BE AVOIDED
• Wanting to perform, be perfect, be selected (at all cost).
• Do not always answer by a (yes) or (no) to the questions from recruiter.
• Often say (sometime) or (maybe) and thus trivialize your abilities.
• Exaggerate your abilities, it can be felt or will be obvious one day or the other.
• Answer questions without enthusiasm or with arrogance.
THING TO DO
• Be yourself, make yourself known as you are.
• Describe yourself honestly and strategically, all is not said. Practice.
• Read the job description and learn more about the company.
• Prepare your answers and give an example once in a while.
• Do your best, then let go. The final decision is not yours.

Your healthy weight.
Your healthy weight isn't some kind of magic number. Nor does it have to do with how you look. It's simply the weight range that's considered healthy for your height.
To know if you're in your heavyweight range, use this calculator tool
Its simply a myth to think that skipping breakfast can help you loose weight. It's just the opposite. People who eat breakfast have an easier time maintaining their weight.
A healthy breakfast should include a source of protein and at least three of the major food groups. For example a banana and peanut butter sandwich with a glass of milk, or a fruit and yogurt smoothie with a whole grain bagel.
Avoid weight loss ideas that just don't work.
Skipping meals or eliminating food groups can contribute to nutritional deficiencies.
Tried to cut out milk products? Forget it. More than 30 scientific studies have shown that the calcium in milk products can help you reach and maintain a healthy weight. Moreover, milk products are loaded with 15 essential nutrients.
Often a lack of protein will lead to craving. And, unfortunately cravings may often lead us to quick-fix foods like cookies, chocolates and donuts.
Drinking milk with your meal is a good way to get good proteins. To prevent craving, choose snack such as yogurt or fresh vegetable with cheese.
Enjoy yourself and stay active.
Being active is as important to a healthy weight as what you eat. Be physically active every day. Shorter periods of about 15 minutes of activity daily are better for you than a full-scale gym workout once a week.
Find an activity that you really like. This is a key to success. Take the time to enjoy what you're doing. You could even include the kids! A great way to teach them what healthy lifestyle habits are all about.
If you have a pet dog; just take him for a long walk each an every day. The dog will be happy and will appreciate it. You will be repaid by a healthier and longer life.

Planning Your Diet
We have plans for everything these days. That is how we can fit 100 different things into each day. While to an extent this seems a bit over doing it, some things do need to be planned. I don't know why we don't plan our diets. I mean, we plan everything else. Some people even plan on when they will have sex. Hence, the birth of hump day. Why not spend a few minutes and plan out what you will eat? If you are reading this, you have the time so. So sit back and follow these seven easy steps. Don't blink, if you do it will be over. It is really that simple.
1. Mini meals are great.
They tell people with certain disease that they should eat several small meals each day. They say that a person should eat something every two hours. Well, that isn't too impossible to do. I would suggest that you start out every four hours. Keep it like you normally would any of your other meals. Make sure you have your protein and your fiber. Have some veggies and some fruit to balance everything out. Don't make your mini meal a bucket of fried chicken. I know that since it is a mini meal, the temptation doesn't seem as great. I mean, if you only slip up in a mini meal, who is watching? These are a great way to avoid hunger and improper snacking throughout the day. Just make your mini meals up and eat them every time that you have planned. If you plan on eating every two hours, every two hours it is. It doesn't take a road map to figure this out.
2. Don't go over board.
This is easier said than done. You need to have a specific amount that you are trying to reduce. If you are trying to reduce your meals by 10 percent, then you should stick to that. I'm not suggesting that you break out the calculator and count up every meal that you have. If you have been on a diet for very long, you already have a good idea how many calories things have. Don't eat with your eyes, eat with your mind. That will help you cut down on the amount of food that you eat.
3. Eat good tasting food.
From time to time let yourself go. Eat something that you know you shouldn't. If you get it out of your system, it will be easier to maintain your diet. If on the other hand you don't allow yourself to eat things you shouldn't from time to time, all you will do is hurt yourself in the long run. You are going to nibble each day on those things instead of just eating them occasionally.
4. Eat your calories, don't drink them.
Don't fill up on sodas and other drinks. You can get all your calories for one day in these if you do it too much. A few sodas here. A few cups of hot chocolate there. A few beers here. You get the point. That will put on the pounds easily.
You need to do this to keep fit. Not only will it keep you fit, but it will keep you mentally sharp as well. That can go a long way in helping you stick to a diet. If you are depressed, chances are you will end up eating fatty foods that will make you fat. When you consume all of that fat, it will make you more depressed. It is a bad cycle to start.
6. Make your meals last.
Chew your damn food son! I bet you heard that one as a kid. Well, it is true. Don't swallow your food. Instead, eat it slowly and enjoy the taste of it. If you do this, it will make you feel like you have actually ate something. If you swallow it down, you won't get the same benefit. You will continue to feel a void.
7. Discover your food triggers.
We all have these. When was the last time you went grocery shopping and you looked at a bag of cookies and realized that you had to have them? I do this sort of thing all the time. You need to understand what foods trigger your response system. If you can do this, you can avoid situations that will make you eat things that you shouldn't eat. Well, that wasn't so bad was it? There is no need to flip out when it comes to a diet plan. It is simple and easy. Just like anything in life, you should have a plan before you begin to do whatever it is that you are doing. The same is true with your diet.

As we get older most of us are already starting to feel chronicle pains associate with articular degenerative sickness of some kind. We wake up in the morning with all kinds of stiffness and movement rigidity in some part or the other of our body.
We all know that dogs often suffer from articular pains. We often hear the word dysplasia which is the typical term used for describing degenerative sickness on dogs. Sometime its on a hip or at other times on a leg joint. But what about cats? Those small animals full of flexibility and agility. Could it be that their articulations be less affected by old age than ours. Well its a resounding no! When studied under radiography it shows that on the majority cats older than ten years have arthritis lesions and visible signs of degenerative articulatory damages even though most of them don't seems to show any symptoms of suffering pain. A cat is a very proud and secretive animal who does not like us to know that it has pains.
Results of study.
Researchers who studied articular degenerative diseases on cats. When studied under radiography taken ed on many cats brought to the veterinary for various medical reasons (but in most case because the cats were limping or because of articular pains) Here is what they discovered:
In one study alone , 80 percent of cats have shown some kind of lesions due to articular degenerative sickness.
During another study, 92 percent of the cats of over 12 years of age and older under radio graphic studies had articular degeneration symptoms. But only 4 percent of them would show evident limping signs.
100 percent of cats over 15 years of age had articular degenerative lesions.
Another further study was made on cats sent to a veterinarian university school, it was discovered that 34 percent of all cats older than 10 years old are showing signs of articular degeneration when studied under radiography, while only 16.5 percent of them was showing any signs of having slight problems. This is to say that the majority of cats over 10 years old have a very good chance of suffering from articular pains even if they don't show an y outward signs of suffering, for the simple reason that cats do not like us to know that they are suffering.
Big cats are more at risk and sometime they do show some small signs of having articular pains.
During another study prospects, a total number of 1460 cats have been medically followed during a five year period. The study demonstrate that slightly overweight cats tend to be 3 time more at risk of developing articular degenerative lesions and sadly that real overweight cats are 5 time more at risk of developing those articular degeneration diseases. Your cat is very secretive about his pains. It may be already suffering from articular pains if:
It is 10 years old or older.
It is less active than before and tend to sleep more than usual.
If its fur is less glossy and looks less maintained than before.
If its movements seems altered and with less suppleness.
It seems to have occasional stiffness.
It seems to hesitate before taking a jump.
It tend to not jump very high anymore, and sometime miss its target.
It occasionally defalcate or urinate outside of its litter box.
It is less playful and interact less with you.
It has mood changes, seems more grouchy and less sociable, etc...
It has certain periods of meowing without apparent reasons. What to do?
Just like us cats who present certain symptoms of articular degenerative pains don't have to suffer unnecessarily.
Today's veterinary medicines offers a panoply of alternatives which can be combined to diminish chronicle pains an ameliorate the quality of life of cats suffering from arthritis. So take good care of your cats. They are wonderful friends, and do not deserve to suffer for nothing.

People who accumulate mountains of objects are not collectors. They are Hoarders! Collectors are usually proud to show the objects they own, they are proud of their collections, Those who accumulate infinity of objects do not show them to anybody they are ashamed of all those objects. Hoarding is an old disease which is on the increase everywhere around the world.
Compulsive accumulation does not discriminate, it strikes rich and poor, thin or obese. There are people who live in houses worthy of millionaires, which they filled with objects from top to bottom. Compulsive accumulation has captured the imagination of many people in Toronto Canada last September, while a low-rent high-rise building was devastated by fire. Reports have also revealed that the public health department of the Queen City had already expressed its concerns about the building where the fire started and had even ordered the complete cleaning of 20 of those apartments in the same building because of fire hazard reasons.
What causes people to become hoarders?
This behavior is known as an obsessive-compulsive disorder. The sufferer builds up and is unable to get rid of various objects, which among normal people, could be deemed unnecessary. Compulsive accumulation can interfere with the normal operation of a house you cannot prepare food in the kitchen, sleep in your bed or use your bath because they are literally filled with objects. Finally, the compulsive accumulation exposes the sufferer and his family into considerable emotional pressure. The problem may not bother the person who is affected; however, it can cause anxiety among people who live under the same roof. What is it that causes a certain person to fill her home from top to bottom with objects enough to render it unsafe and uninhabitable? There is no absolute answer to this question. The first researches on this condition started only about 10 years ago. The experts, however, identifies several possible causes, including an obsessive-compulsive disorder, a loss or deep mourning, or a misconception of the real value of things.
Unfortunately, Hoarders are rarely seeking help. They often have little awareness of their problem. The majority of them do not see any problems living in a house filled with objects from the cellar to the attic. Some may even feel shame, and even had to suffer the reproaches of their family members, who could no longer take it anymore, who criticized them and even moved elsewhere because they could no longer live under those conditions. More advertising to publicize the affective disorder, especially thanks to two reality shows helped bring the problem to light. It all helps to encourage people to call for help. A women on one of those reality show had two young children, her house was a real fire hazard place and unfit for children to live in. She was told by authorities to clean up or her children would be taken away from her. Guess what! They removed her children from her and she decided to keep her objects and let the children go. (this is how deep this problem is for those affected people.) No easy solutions to this problem. This is a hard thing to comprehend. Trowing any of their things away will breaks their hearts! They really need help, but most of the time will refuse help. For the family, its like being buried alive, your life is put on hold. That is why the name of one reality show is called Buried Alive Professional organizers do not have all the experience necessary to help compulsive accumulators. Those who can know that it's not enough to empty the house, put everything away and make it livable or soluble. We need to see things differently, to obtain harm reduction. Not allow objects to land on the stove or in the bathtub and bring the site at a level of cleanness and safety that complies with certain standards.
Rid the place of these items usually causes an intense despair among those affected. The relatives of these people should also not attempt to put order in secret, without the main interested person knowledge. This approach can be incredibly traumatic for those affected and researched has revealed that it does not work, often a trauma like this can cause medical problems, physical or cause serious mental health problems. You cannot carry out surprise attacks. It is recommended to work with a professional organizer, together with a therapist, so that the person can receive psychological support to overcome his or her problem and also benefits from concrete help to put some order in his or her life. The people living with such a person must be supported also. We must help them to practice techniques to encourage the person who suffers from compulsive accumulation without rejecting that person.

Water is a natural necessity. It is essential to consume enough water, but it is also important to be wary of water, because if water is life, it can also constrain life and sometimes take it back.
We are water. Our body contains an inland sea. Before our birth, we go through a phase (water) as we swim in amniotic fluid. A two months fetus is composed of over 95 percent water. As an infant, water represents 75 percent of our total weight and at adulthood, it still represents 65 percent of our total weight. From top to bottom we are waterlogged: Our blood and our brains contain more than 80 percent water, 75 percent our muscles and our skeleton nearly 40 percent.
We lose an average of two liters of water daily through perspiration, respiration and the elimination exerted by our kidneys. Much more during hot weather during summer or during a sustained physical exercise. If we lose the equivalent of 2 percent of our water, we feel the need to drink. At 10 percent, our skin shrinks and we are victims of hallucinations. At 15 percent dehydration, we are in danger of dying... Dehydration is also the source of many evils among which inflammation, thickening of the blood, compaction discs and kidney problems and much more. Dehydration is insidious. The sensation of thirst occurs late, when the water losses are already large. Therefore drink regularly during the day, even if we do not feel thirsty. At least one and a half liters of low mineral content water, and more than double that amount during hot weather or during a heat wave.
The ear wax (cerumen) that builds up naturally in the ears is very useful. It protects the ear canal from moisture and contains a beneficial bacteria for the ear. It's that bacteria which protects the ears from external otitis which is the most current, usually called (swimming pool otitis) or (swimmer's otitis) because it is more often diagnosed in children who swim often. Itching inside the ear, clear liquid that flows out, ear pain when moving the head or when the earlobe is pulled and difficulty hearing are all symptoms that characterize swimmer's otitis.
It develops when the inside of the ears remains wet. The skin in the ear canal dry's out and small cracks are formed. Bacteria and fungi infiltrate tissues and infect the ear. The infection usually cure itself within one or two days. If there is pain in the external ear or if there is a purulent discharge, it is best to consult a doctor. Antibiotic drops if required will be prescribed to promote faster healing.
To prevent swimmer's otitis, do not remove the wax from your ears, remove only the wax which is apparent with a washcloth only. After bathing, make sure to dry your ears correctly. While swimming, you can also wear earplugs.
Drowning can happen anywhere at anytime. It only takes water: lakes, rivers, ponds, pools, spas, wading pools or bathtubs. It can occur in very little water, very quickly and very often without a sound. In many cases, only a few centimeters of water is sufficient. An adult should supervise at all times, all children who are in the water or near water, and they should never be left alone in a pool, a spa, or close to a lake, a pound or a river, even for a brief moment.
When the face is submerged, not breathing is voluntarily chosen, then comes the critical time when breathing again becomes imperative and with it follows an involuntary inspiration accompanied by a massive intake of water in the lungs. Lack of oxygen to the brain causes a loss of consciousness and in less than 4 minutes, the heart stops beating. The few first minutes are critical.
The intervention must be quick. If there is no pulse, couple heart massages with your artificial respiration. Locate the area where your suppose to massage, the sternum, the area where the ribs meet at the center of the chest. Place on this area the heel of one of your hand. Perform 15 compressions to 2 mouth to mouth artificial respiration; alternating, until the pulse reappears. Then continue with the same procedure until helps arrives.

Food That Prevent Cancers
Cancer can be defeated" This phrase has served as a rallying cry for sick cancer patients for decades, but a growing number of scientific researches henceforth come to the conclusion that the most effective weapon against this disease remains prevention.
"We know that the epidemic of cancer today is due to many carcinogenic substances in the air, water and food," said Liz Armstrong who co-authored the book Cancer: 101 Solutions to Preventable Epidemic.
Most products we use daily, whether at home, at school or at work, contain many carcinogenic substances. Some pesticides, for example, have mostly been associated with lymphoma, leukemia as well as cancers of the prostate, lung, breast and ovaries cancers. When polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, found in both the exhaust from trucks and cars and second hand smoke from cigarettes, they are associated with lung cancers, skin cancers, bladder cancers and kidney cancers. In addition, a causal link was established between formaldehyde (a substance commonly used in furniture manufacturing chipboard) and cancer of the lymphatic system and brain tumors. In identifying and eliminating carcinogenic agents present in the environment, we contribute to the prevention of this devastating disease.
Half of the cancers can be prevented
In its annual report titled General Statistics for cancer in 2010 and made public last month, the Canadian Association of Cancer says that "at least 50 percent of cancers can be prevented through a healthy lifestyle and policies to promote a healthy environment. Same stories from our southern neighbors, who wrote in their annual report of the National Cancer Institute's President's Cancer Panel, published last May. " According to our researches, at least one half of all new cancer cases and all deaths caused by this disease at a global scale could be avoided. In addition to our right of access to information and our duty of inquiry, we also have an obligation to act," said the cancer survivor and research scientist and author of Living Downstream,Sandra Steingraber. After her, the key to cancer prevention is based on the abolition of all known carcinogenic agents. "Actually, the public history of cancer is very encouraging. It tells us that the environment plays a role much greater than we thought. Each person represents a given point and our goal is to succeed in finding a solution to the problem. "
Rare genetic causes
Carcinogenic agents cause mutations in certain genes, which ultimately lead to cancer, it is estimated that approximately two thirds of all cancers are caused by the presence of these substances in the environment and they could be completely eradicated. I would have become very depressed if science had proved that our genes were to blame, "says Steingraber, but in reality, only 5 percent of all cancers are caused by our genetic factors. We can not change the past, but we can ensure that our systems and agricultural industries no longer depend on all sorts of toxic products. We can prevent cancer by protecting people against the causes of the disease.

They make us take root to the earth, and also encourage us to look at the sky. (The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.) Proverb. The trees are magnificent gifts of creation that enrich our lives beyond all considerations. Their splendid canopy attenuated the summer heat, while sheltering us against the winter winds and warm us. Trees are the lungs of the earth, because they provide the oxygen necessary for life and absorb carbon dioxide that threatens the stability of our climate. Trees are a living link with the past, acting as conventions between generations. The oldest trees on earth are the Sequoias with yew leaves from California. They can reach up to 66 feet high, many of those giants are over 3000 years old, dating back to the bygone era of the Mayans and the pharaohs. The contemporary Sequoias
are distant relatives of trees that were existing 100 million years ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Trees help us to take our root on Earth, but also they encourage us to look at the sky, and are showing us possibilities that only us can ever imagine. Some smaller and fragile shoots are helping to extend the life of trees encouraging them to to reach extreme heights so that some of those older trees can literally reach into the heavens.
The environmental benefits of trees are substantial:
they filter out toxic pollutants from the atmosphere through their leaves and those contained in the groundwater using their roots they contribute in the reduction of flooding; they ameliorate the quality of water runoff by slowing down the water runoff and by trapping, using or illuminating their pollutants;they reduce soil erosion;they produce dead leaves that help to enrich the soil and provides a place where microorganisms proliferate;they reject oxygen into the atmosphere;they ameliorate the air quality by filtering dust and absorbing ozone, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, ammonia and heavy metals in suspension. The Economic benefices of trees
Trees contribute effectively to moderate the extreme temperatures and reduce the costs of heating and air conditioning. But the economic benefits of trees; doesn't stop here. According to a study return on investment for each dollar spent on trees is three dollars for each tree, in terms of benefits for the community.Three trees planted strategically around a house can reduce the heating costs by 10 to 30 percent, and air conditioning costs by 10 to 50 percent. The addition of each 5 percent of forest cover to a community decreases runoff from rainwater by 2 percent, thereby reducing the need for costly infrastructureThree trees can cool entire neighbourhoods by rejecting moisture in the air and by shading asphalted surfaces like parking lots, sidewalks and streets.A large specimen tree can increase the value of a property by 10 percent.Social and community benefits of trees
Trees encourages outdoor activities
. Provide shade and shelter while reducing the stress of urban environments. Provide protection against solar ultraviolet radiation. Helps to absorb high noises sound frequencies. Gives us a sense of belonging somewhere. Encourages outdoor classroom.Inspires creativity and spirituality. Provide beautiful neighbourhoods where people can take walks, or cycle, planting trees encourage local sense of community and properties. cause traffic to slow down. Helps to heal. Patients in hospitals recover more quickly from their surgery and require less medication when their hospital rooms are overlooking trees
